hi
i am looking for suggestions on how i could best restore the cpo of my gorf cabaret
it is originally screen painted onto the metal and obviously over time the paintwork has been eroded
ravage has already repro'd the text and graphics as an illustrator file
but i am looking for suggestions on what would be best to implement it
one option would be to print as complete vinyl overlay and cover top part of the cpo - but i would prefer if original metal was still visible
is it possible to get graphics printed on clear adhesive plastic - make a decal that could be stuck to the metal? but would need to be hardwearing.
any suggestions gratefully received.

I might be able to do individual vinyl peices to sort of repro the CP. Once placed and placed right they should last a good long while. Plus vinyl will be much cheaper then having to hunt down a mint original cp. let me know through pm as you have done before.

here is link to the gorf cpo http://www.localarcade.com/arcade_art/details.php?image_id=519
not sure if it is fullsize or cabaret sized - i need cabaret
i didn;t think it would be possible to make vinyl lettering that small
how would they stick securely to the cpo?
I assume would need to apply clear plastic covering to protect?
this is a common problem with gorf cabinets - i'm sure if you could provide a good solution many other gorf owners would be interested!
