How do you hook these up as far as powering the LED's? I have an I-Pac 4 now can you use the 5V from the USB port? What type of connectors are on the LED's?

There are two terminals to connect the wires. You can use 5 volts, but 12 volts makes them brighter. I'd re comend pulling 12 volts from your computer's power supply.

I love the fact that these come with quick disconnect terminals. I have a bunch of shawnzilla's buttons, but I'm very curious as to how these compare. I'm obviously going to have to order some... ;D

If I understand correctly from the site, these buttons are convex not concave? So that means they stick "out" instead of sinking "in" a little? I have only played on buttons that sink "in" so I'm curious if it's strange to have these buttons as your main action buttons in a game? Anyone want to weigh in on that?

Convex buttons are more popular for Japanese machines. They're prefered by some people for fighting games.
Though I must admit I grew up using concave buttons and prefer them for their familiarity, I don't think it would take much time to get used to convex buttons.
If I had to choose between pre-wired convex buttons and basic translucent do-it-yourself concave buttons, I wouldn't have to think too long before ordering the convex.
