Title: Act Labs Gun with T2??
Post by: Scotty on December 26, 2002, 02:37:23 pm
Just got an Act-Labs light gun, and wanted everyone to know it is great, if you are thinking of getting one, just do like a famous sneaker company tells you... JUST DO IT!

I only have one question...  Can anyone get it to work with T2?  It worked great in Duck Hunt, Area 51, HOgans Alley and the rest, but I can not seem to get it to work with T2.
Revolution-X is broken, so I can not speak for it either, as it is on the same hardware.

T2 always needs to be calibrated before you play the first time.  Turn on the dip switch for test mode, go to the calibration screen and follow the instructions.

I tried, and it still didnt work.  X-axis was fine, but not y-axis.

Tried several times.

Also try erasing the config files for T2 (I think the ones to kill are in the cfg and nvram folders) and recalibrate again.

I believe I got it to calibrate... but, it was only for a test.

T2 uses pot based guns... and also, a rapidfire trigger.

The Actlabs gun isnt capable of having the trigger held down to fire - because it cant do realtime tracking.

So basically... its useless to play T2 with the actlabs gun.
