Title: How would I wire this up?
Post by: DannyH on July 26, 2005, 03:27:16 am
Hi,

I am trying to figure out a way I can essentially rig up an on and off button on the front of side of my cabinet

I want to have a powerboard inside my machine which plugs into a socket with the on/off switch and then the switch runs out to a plug that plugs into the wall.

Is that even possible or am I dreaming?

Essentially I need to put a switch between the powerboard and the wall socket that controls on and off and turns the computer off.

Any ideas/sugestions?

Just struck me.

By a power strip with an on off button, lengthen the wires and mount to the cabinet......duh!

Just FYI, having a conversation with yourself is generally considered a worrying sign. If you start arguing with yourself, seek professional help.

lol yeah too true. All this cabinet stuff makes you go a bit crazy! Especially dodgy ebay sellers who pull the item 30 mins before bdding is suppossed to end!
