Title: Anyone from Ohio?
Post by: Wadeduck on July 25, 2005, 01:39:09 pm
I have been lurking here for quite a while and have not seen many people admitting they are from Ohio.  I just wanted to get a quick idea if I am alone out here or not.

I had a friend who's sister's ex-boyfriend's cousin worked with a guy that knew of a person from Ohio..........

 :-\

But,

come to think of it, I've never met a person who in real life was from Ohio.

:o

I currently reside in Columbus.  If you live in the area and need anything or any help shoot me a PM, I've got a bunch of spare parts and some newly discovered free time and such.  I know there are other people who live throughout the state as well.

That is a nice Dodge Dakota you got there.  Do you ever go to the arcade auctions in town...  I live on the west side but don't have a a way to transport cabinets home so I only go when a friend is in town with his truck.  Hint Hint  ;).  J/K

I traded the truck for a Harley and a car.  That took awhile to get past the wife :police:.  Anyways, PM me, I know a couple guys in Columbus I met on this board. Someone just asked me about building a cab last week.

I grew up in Cincinnati, not that that counts for anything.  At all.  Ever.

Thanks for the replies guys.  I am from New Philadelphia.  For those of you who don't know where that is it is a few miles south of Canton, which is a few miles south of Akron, which is a few miles south of Cleveland.  So this all means I live in the middle of frigging nowhere, surrounded by corn fields and Amish.
I am still glad there are a few of you who admit to living in this wonderful state.
Thanks Raleigh for the offer of help, someday I may need it enough to drive the 2+ hours.  For now I will just keep planning and wishing.

I live between Delaware and Columbus. My Neo Geo cab resides at my work place in Powell. Anyone in the area is more than welcome to get in touch for a few rounds of gaming. Some nice casual places around the corner for drinks, food and coffee too.

I'm just outside Columbus, in Canal Winchester.

It's good to see so many people are "local."

McCoy, that Buckeyes cab Rocks!

;D Go Bucks!

There are a number of us in the central Ohio area.  You're not alone.

Anybody want to do a cap kit for me? :)

Sounds like fun!  I've never done it before, but I'm fairly handy with a soldering iron.  Replacing a few capacitors can't be *that* tough...   ;D

Yeah, but try to do it on a 20 year old PCB without creating a random cold solder joint in the process.  THAT is the trick.
