The board wouldn't power up if it was dead.

The board wouldn't power up if it was dead.

The board would power up, but you would get a blank screen...

its a marvel super heroes cps2, I havent heard anything about it being a suicide one according to klov

Every CPS2 game is suicide.

Also check that the power supply is giving Exactly or close to +5v, +12v
