I have a Street Fighter Zero game currently totally original i.e. no J-Pacs or anything other than a normal JAMMA cab.
When I turn the machine on everything runs fine (stiill haven't got sound working) but there are vertical lines on the monitor spaced about 1 inch apart and the lines are about 3/16th" thick.
I have searched for an answer to the problem and I'm sure it is something very simple, not bad video RAM or something like that.
Any advice would be very welcome, this is getting frustrating.

What does the picture look like when you enter the game's test mode?

Thanks Ken, no the lines don't appear in test mode.

It sounds like you have a gameboard problem. You'll need to send it off for repair.

Thankyou, and damn it.

Thanks Ken, it was indeed a game board problem but not terminal thank god.
I took the Capcom A & B boards apart cleaned everything etc and put them back together and we're good to go. Seems to be a problem with Capcom boards being mounted any other way than flat, don't know if you have come across this before. Unless it was just random crap shorting something.
