Well, After 3 weeks of looking for the recharger for my camcorder I am happy to say that I finally found it.
Anyway, I made a small video of the board that Buddabing and myself are working on to show what our board can do. The board is only running 20 Leds in this video because those were the only buttons that I have on my control panel which are not black. The buttons that I am using are also the non-translucent kind with 3000mcd leds (1 in each button).
Check out the link http://www.gamecab.com/video/40led.htm
Thanks
Charlie

so... it sorta doesn't work, right? ;)

It workie now (both the link AND the video :) )

It still won't work in Firefox for me, but it now loads up in Maxthon (IE)
-
I still don't see the video in either Safari or Firefox. In Internet Exploder, it shows up as a broken image file.

Try this: http://www.gamecab.com/video/40%20LED.wmv

Well, that got the file downloaded. It appears to be a Windows Media file, though, so not playable on my Mac. (And don't tell me to download the Mac version of Windows Media Player -- no thanks! Way too many strings attached...)
Guess I'll wait to hear what others report...

Mystery solved.

On the mac, go download vlc at http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ that'll play pretty much any file you need to, great video player.

Yes! Yes! Yes! That was exactly what I was waiting for. I am so excited about this. Thanks!

You know,
Yesterday I was perfectly happy with solid white buttons.

Fantastic!! The solution I was looking for -- and it works perfectly!
Thanks a million!!

P.S. I can hardly wait for this controller board to arrive!

Very, Very nice.
I'm guessing this could be programmed to show which buttons can be used for a particular game. That would be sweet!

Sorry about the WMA format. I wasn't sure on how much monthly bandwidth I have on the GameCab site so I kept the file size small. I'm going to put up another video in a few days that should be a better format and much better angle of view.
Thanks

I'm not all for the lighted button idea, seems a bit 'modern' for my tastes...
...but I have to say that looks very impressive :)
-
I agree with you, but as my cab has a removable CP, I figured I'd make one with a lot of "bling bling" to impress my friends at parties. :-)

I used all-black buttons on my control panel. :(

THAT is freaking COOL. :)
Now I want to do a cp that looks like the bridge of the Enterprise. ;D
