Title: mini-pac question

I lost my usb-ps2 cable to hook my mini-pac to the computer. it turns out this is a very uncommon cable and I can't find it in any compuer store. I tried to buy a male to male usb cable with a ps2 adapter. It turns out my adapter was green, so only the trackball worked. This took my a long time to figure out. So I plan on buying a purple adapter(keyboard). My question is, will the trackball still work? do I need to order another from ultimarc?

this is driving me crazy, i got a purple adaptor, nothing. Is there something special about ultimarc's cable?
