Title: Anyone want a free Defender cab in MN?
Post by: Rook3 on July 22, 2005, 09:16:36 am
No, this Isn't a get rich quick/click on a hundred links scheme. ;)

My company has a converted defender cab sitting in "the graveyard."

The sides were painted grey, but the sideart is showing through in spots.
It will need some wood replaced, such as the top piece and possibly the back/bottom piece. Has coin door, no monitor, some hacked non-jamma harness.

Cab is located in Northern Minnesota.

Okay, I'm located in Bemidji. About 4.5 hours north of the cities, 2.5 from Fargo/Duluth/Grand Forks or so. Right in the middle of nowhere. And don't get any ideas about casually asking my company if they have any "old boardsets laying around"... they don't. :) They sold all the good classic stuff back in 1995 in one big semi-trailer load. *snif*

I'll try to get a couple pics for everyone by Monday.

Which one(s) are you interested in? I could grab a company truck and put it in my garage at home for a few days to get it out of the weather.

Let me know.

If these were completely unscrewed and taken apart, how much could they be shipped for?

Sorry, but I'm not going there. How much would it cost to ship the equivilent of 9 sheets of plywood and MDF? :) Figure about 2.5 - 3 sheets per cab.

And what company would do it? It cost me $300 to have a motorcycle engine shipped to me via UPS, and it BARELY made the 50 lb weight limit.

Seems like more trouble than it's worth. Sorry!

Hey Rook3...
Had anyone claimed the 3 cabs yet??  I've VERY interested in them.  I don't live too far away either.  Please e-mail me at swalters@usfamily.net.
