If you are using MAME32 you hit the F12 key.  In Windows, I believe you just hit the Print Screen button.  Hope this helps.

1. Hit PrintScreen.

2. Go into Word or some other word processing program.

3. Paste it. (Ctrl+V)

Use the "print screen" button then paste into any graphics program. MS Paint will do. Also you can use "alt-print screen" to capture just the active window.

should be after f12 or on top of insert and delete on your keyboard.

It might be labeled "PrtScn" or on some keyboards "SysRq".

There are some images it won't grab though, specifically it doesn't grab certain forms of video and such, you'll end up with a black square where the video was if you try it.
