Title: How do I split this?
Post by: flyguy1821 on July 20, 2005, 10:42:55 pm
Wanting to know the easiest way to split a component signal for 2 TVs.  I am including a PS2 in my cab and want to take the component cables from the PS2 and split the signal for 2 TVs.  I think I can just by some "y" adaptors to do it, but will I lose a lot of signal strength and/or will it work?  I see you can purchase distributors on eBay and such but don't really want to spend $100 or so to get one.  Any help appreciated.

Radio Shack should sell inline distribution amplifiers that may help your problem for much less than $100, or you can run a switchbox (such as an RF Modulator) from the inputs on your television to your various systems.  If nothing else, try the switchbox and if you are not happy with the results take it back and then try other measures.
