Title: Combat School
Post by: Marky_1979 on July 18, 2005, 12:53:06 pm
im trying to configure my trackball to play the teackball version of combat school if i use the mouse to my computer it works perfectly fine easy to play etc. But the second i try to use the trackball its a nightmare the bar wont go up and the harder i try the less results i get.

Iv altered some of the options to get some results but not sure if im doing it right as the change is very small and still makes it impossible to play.

Does my trackball need adjusting as the ball also seems very slow moving doesnt spin like mad when i have a go move a few spins then slows down.

need some ideas folks as would love to play this game with the trackball

try altering the cfg file for the game and increasing the sensitivity of both the x and y sections.  You may need to increase it a 300, 400 or more.

have you tried using the trackball in windows to see how it moves the cursor - maybe the roller bearings aren't too good.  It should roll well in all directions and hopefully not lift off the rollers.

It works relatively well in windows not as easy as a normal mouse but thats to be expected.

Iv tried the T/ball with various games and have had mixed results it works really well with Terminator 2 and Centerpede and a game called the Impossible maze or something after some tweaking of the options, but for Combat School and Bowling games its a real issue and i really wanted to play these types of games.

How do the bowling games and Combat school work on your cab with yout r/ball?
