Is there a way to have a cross platform (cross emu) list setup in MameWAH.
For example, if I wanted to make a list for my kids including a few NES games, a few genesis games, etc.
Would be handy for me.
Thanks,
Stobe

There is no actuall support for this built into MameWah, but there are ways to get it to work. You can make the list and create a folder of batch files for that list. Set Mamewah to read .bat as the rom extension and make each bat call the emulator it needs to for the game.

Cool idea.
So I guess you'd create an .ini for a dummy emu that has the lost looking for batch files? Then the batch files will have to call the commandline verbose for the given emu/game?
Sounds straight forward enough.
Now if I can just get the layouts to switch when switching emus.... more reading to do, lol.

Yeah, you could call the emulator 'All Games' or something.
You should be able to find an example batch file here or at the AOS/Mamewah board...don't ask me as I'm not big on batch files!

Yeah, see layouts.txt - it's all in the naming of your .lay and .jpg (or whatever background image format) files.

I've been thinking about trying to do this for a while. You may have inspired me.
