Push buttons like these
http://www.happcontrols.com/pushbuttons/954002xxxxz.htm
That are NOT light up?
I wanna built a control panel, or just add the buttons to my existing for the game "Got Ca" or whatever its called..
and honestly, 8 bucks PER button, seems a tad steep..
Now, is there another company that has similar, or hell even a size inbetween NORMAL pushbuttons and those "jumbo" ones that arnt lit up..

Hate to bump my own thread here.. but its really important :(

Well if you're desperate, cant you just take out the bulb?

You might want to check with some makers of industrial buttons. They use large non lit buttons for emergency stops on machines all the time.. check out this site for some examples of what I am talking about:

You might be able to find a local distributor of industrial electronics that carries a button you may need. I'm not sure if it will be cheaper than 8 bucks though. Also, make sure you get a momentary.. sometimes these buttons are the rotate to release type.
Good luck,

Are these the same buttons used on arcade Pop'n Music control panels? I remember them to be much more expensive... Guess I should thank you for bringing this to my attention since I always wanted to build a Pop'n panel.
-
Yeah me too. They used to be like $15 or maybe higher...

could you buy the clear ones and paint the inside to the color you want?

I guess i could.. hell i could handle them being lit up, its non issue, i just didnt want to pay the extra money for some lightbulbs.. :(

In my uninformed opinion these are as cheap as it gets because these don't sell that much compared to standard pushbuttons. They were way overpriced before.
How many do you need, anyway?
