Title: Don't use that name for your arcade! IT'S MINE!
Post by: flampoo on July 14, 2005, 03:41:03 pm: I am currently in the process of Trademarking the following ridiculous custom arcade names. If you're interested in one I'll gladly sell you a license and share my design ideas for $1000.

Jarcade (the controllers are mason jars and the buttons are lids)
Nearcade (it's really close)
Farcade (put it on the other side of the room)
Parcade (golf arcade)
Bglarghhcade (it has a puke color scheme)
Tarcade (it's all sticky and has lots of ash trays)
Carcade (guess? A cockpit!)
Ubercade (the marquee is a pair of glasses taped in the middle)
Queercade (no comment)
Earcade (very loud and has ear-shaped side panels, a-la Burgertime)
KoolAidCade (OHHH YEAH!)
Yarncade (the sides have custom cross-stiched characters and fluffy balltops)
Smearcade (it'll have a bubble gum and boogers theme goin' on)
Barncade (red paint and white trim - animals on sideart. Maybe a silo, too? I dunno)
ZodCade (KNEEL BEFORE ZOD)
Narcade (covered in drug paraphernalia)
GWARcade (need I explain?)
Arcade (this one is totally original. Don't even think about it!)

All the cool kids are using the "-teria" suffix. I was thinking about "Gameateria" for my next cab... Maybe you could do "Cadeateria"... Then you'd be really cool. 8)

Post by: dabone on July 14, 2005, 10:06:35 pm: Mine are (according to my kids,) The big black one, (Generic 25" cab with franken panel) The white one. (Super neo candy 29), and the other one.... (The other one being the vertical dragon spirit cab), they never call it anything but the other cab...

(I'm playing on the black cab, you have to play on the other..)

One of these days I might actually name them or do some custom marquees, but for now the kids names work

I designed and created GWARCADE, completed in February-March of 2005, with documentation. Trademark it and you'll be paying me $1000.

It's been running happily in my gameroom ever since.

Besides, you can't trademark GWARcade, since it's based on the GWAR trademark, and I"m willing to bet you don't have a license to make any money off the name. Dimwit.

Besides, I have created my GWARcade, back in January of 2005, with documentation - and it has been happily running in my gameroom ever since.
