I have 27" tv in my cab and regular computer speakers mounted inside. When I turn on the TV I get low static out of the speakers. Anyway to get rid of that?
-
Try the following:
1) Move the TV farther away from the cab or vice versa
2) If the speakers are not shielded, try installing some RF shielding
3) Try plugging your TV or cab so they are different electrical circuits.

The TV is in the cab, so moving it away would be uummm, strange ;)
They are shielded.
I will try the different electrical outlet.

No luck with the switching outlets.
Anyone else have any ideas?

The interference could be getting into the speakers at any point in the audio cable coming from the pc.
Try and move the cable around to see where the inteference is coming from - it be the tv, but it could also the tv's power supply cable. (although this would more likely sound like a 'hum'). If you are using standard computer speakers, you are probably just using standard 3.5mm jacks and standard cable which is quite susceptable to interference (professional audio installations would use balanced audio cables, which is very good at removing interference picked up in a cable).
So:
1) try moving the audio cable away from the tv/other cables. Ideally you want to give it its own 'route' to the pc away from power cables etc...
2) if its the actual tv itself directly interfering with the speakers, you may find placing a sheet of metal (eg from the side of an old computer case) inbetween the tv and the speaker might help.
If nothing helps, then it could be that the interference is being introduced in the soundcard on the pc - is the pc in a closed case? Does shielded the pc help? etc...

Try one of these

I used to live very close to a radio antenna and I had to use these on my computer speakers. They did the trick for me.

So do I just wrap the audio cable (speakers to pc) through that a couple of times where it is close to the TV?

You wrap the cord around the choke as close to the PC speaker as possible.
