Title: KeyWiz Uploader Weirdness
Post by: Avery on July 14, 2005, 11:31:22 am
OK, this is just plain strange.  When I run the KeyWiz uploader, well, there is a plane on which all the buttons live and it takes up about 2/3rds of my screen.  Then there is a plane where my mouse clicks are registered and it takes up the whole screen.  What this means is that if I click on a button nothing happens, I have to click down and to the right.

Obviously there is some kind of resolution call that my system is not responding to.  Anybody have any ideas on what I can do about it?  This is making setting up my defauls an ugly process.   :P

Same thing just happened to me after I switch to a LCD and started running high resolutions.  I had to drop to 1024x768 and then start the Uploader.

This is a driver issue.  ATi card perhaps?

Using a different driver version has fixed the issue for the handfull of folks that have experienced it.

Well, I pulled the video card, deleted all its drivers and tried the video out on the mother board - KeyWiz Uploader worked but, resolution on everything else was Loooooow!  (FYI, it's bloody hard to brows the web in VGA.)

That got old quikc, so I put the card back in, reinstalled the drivers and - There is joy in mudville!   ;D   Now comes the fun of trying to figure out what leads need to go to what sockets for what control modules.
