Title: win98se vs win98

is there actually a performance difference b/t the 2 os'es? i've read the real only difference is added driver support for se. can someone confirm or deny? thanks all.

So does plain old 98 and the later versions of 95. I'm surprised Howard didn't take a bite out of you for that.

Not something you repurchase your OS for. But when your buying 98, you might as well get SE.

Exactly.... I didn't kill the original poster because in essence he was right. Although technically 95 and 98 supported usb, considering it wasn't plug and play and it only worked with half of your devices, they really didn't.
