Title: MAME Logo Font

Does anyone happen to know what font was used in the mame logo? I tried what the font and it didn't help too much, gave fonts that looked nothing like it.

Im fairly certain that the letters were drawn by hand. Here is a link to someone who started to make a font based on it.
