most of us started using the Frostillicuss tutorial (http://www.localarcade.com/4images/details.php?image_id=223&mode=search")

the most difficult is to have an access to file in really Hi Resolution. after that tracing is not so difficult, just time consuming.

It's not done in Photoshop, which produces raster graphics. It's generally done in Illustrator or Freehand, there are other vector programs available, but those are the only two that come to mind at the moment.

Corel Draw, Visio, Jasc Photoshop and The Gimp also can all do vectors.

nop we have to trace it by hand.

never rely on some autotracing tools, they just produce crap  :(
