Title: IPAC with CP buttons and Joystick
Post by: jffyoung on July 11, 2005, 02:50:09 am
I am aware of a few shortcuts using the joystick and a few CP buttons (instead of the keyboard):
Player1 + Player 2 = Exit
Left on joystick then right on joystick = go past ok screen
Player 1 + down = Tab
Blah blah blah...

But is there a combination for when you are in the <tab>input area for <enter>? How do you emulate the enter key?

Also, is there a complete list of the combinations anywhere?

The default "straight out of the box" programmed keys can be found here.

Disabling the p1 / p2 exit was one of the best things I ever did. :)

It appears from that chart that enter would be    P1 START + JOYSTICK LEFT

I own the IPAC4 player. Is the Player 1 + <anykey> the same on both the 2 and 4 player versions? I.E. Would the Player 1 + P1 Joystick Left = Enter?

Yes, but on the 4-player version, you also have a separate shift button that shifts the Player 3 and 4 keys, but it's up to you if you want to use it or not.
