Title: illuminated pushbutton
Post by: rhd on December 20, 2002, 02:28:07 pm
I am planning to use a square illuminated pushbutton with a 25 cent graphic as my coin button. (Happcontrols.com part number (54V-0004-318). Does anybody know if that is a momentary contact or an on/off button?

Thanks,
RHD

On the Happ site it says the button has a DA3 switch (when you click the Buy link).  If you look up DA3 switch on their site (part # 95-4118-00), you see it is momentary.

Thanks for the info, now I know how to figure it out for any switch. Teach a man to fish...

On my friend's cabinet, we're going to use the budget rectangular illuminated pushbuttons at http://www.happcontrols.com/pushbuttons/54b0004510p9.htm which use a regular microswitch.
