I got my control panel finished and got all the parts of my CP done (See Here (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,35169.msg355667.html#msg355667)).

I had the same problem with my Vortex about 6 months ago and I contacted Kelsey about it. Kelsey gave me a very simple solution for this and since then the problem has not come back.
Solution - Go to the hardware store and pick up a small bottle of 3 in 1 oil. (It has to be 3 in 1 and not WD40 because the 3 in 1 will clean out any bits of sawdust that may be trapped in the nylon bearing). Remove your Spinner knob and put 3 drops between the blue nylon bearing and the steel shaft, do the same for the bottom bearing. Now give it a spin and I bet its as good as new again.
The Brrrrr Brrrr Brrrr noise on your MPEG was exactly what my spinner sounded like.
Thanks
Charlie

My V2 does the same thing, but it does not sound as bad as yours.

Cool.
Thanks for for the input. I'll pick some 3 and 1 up today and hit those bearings.
Thanks again.

had me worried. I was hoping that I hadn't sold you a bumm product. I never even used it. Just bought it, tested it, and boxed it up.

Just in case anyone else has had this problem, Charlies solution fixed my rattling immediately. The 3 in 1 oil worked great!
Thanks again!

Would sewing machine oil work as well?

Thanks very much!!! This fixed the vibration on two of my spinners.
I used "Needle-Tip Precision Oiler" from Radio Shack ($3), part # 64-2301A. It says it will last almost indefinitely.
