Title: Space is tight and in doubt
Post by: lloydcom on July 01, 2005, 07:43:59 pm
Hi,

I'm trying to design a cab to go into a very small space, roughly 19" wide by 6' tall by 19" depth.

I made my cab completely from MDF just put cross support piece of MDF vertically under the monitor tray to support my 27" tv and no problems.

MDF will support a 17' no probs i have a 68cm (27 inch i think) sony trinitron tv (which are heavier then normal tubes) supported by a piece of mdf which sits on 2 timber rails that are attached to the inside walls of my cabinet.

I built my cab (http://rototron.info) to a 24" footprint and it created many challenges.
