Alot of those seem like run-of-the-mill sales, but that 27" widescreen lcd tv for $700 seems pretty good! Too bad I don't have $700 to burn.

AH! That's more like it. Yeah, pretty good deals on computers. Too bad I don't need one.

Yeah, but after some crappy CompUSA mail-in-rebates. You'd be better off buying it from Newegg (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820180610) for $65 and using the manufacturers $18 mail-in rebate if you really wanted to.

They've got wireless PCI cards for $5 if anybody wanted one in a cab. They've also got cheapo Emachine PC's for $99 after rebate if you need a knock-around machine or a server.

Crap!  Crapity crap!  I hate being penniless!  I could really use that wireless stuff.  Or the $99 eMachine.

But somehow JoyMonkey saw a July ad with the old link... [cue Twighlight Zone Music]do-do-do-do do-do-do-do[/Music]

JoyMonkey prolly didn't refresh his browser, I'm betting.  Or else his browser creates his display in pencil and it was taking some time to update to the newer page ;D

No, the original link took me nowhere (don't know why, it was as if the PDF didn't exist), so I did what any sensible lemon would do and went to compusa.com. And I assumed that everybody else would be doing the same thing.
The pencil rendered display is a great idea in theory, but tends to make everything illegible after a couple of screen refreshes. (Now I've got an image of a Flintstones style high definition monitor in my head!)
