Title: any artists on here?

Was wondering if anyone good with art could do a photoshop pic for my band. We need like an "emblem" type of thing, our name is BlackHeart. and basicly picture this really messed up looking, black decaying heart, that has a hole or crack in it or something. and add some kind of weird stuff in or whatever. But yeah if anyone is capable of this let me know , thanks =)

Well, I've done pro-bono work for musicians on and off for a while now, so I figured I'd throw a few ideas at you. I have no idea what your band sounds like, so I might not be entirely on target. But from your description above, I was able to make some assumptions.

I also wasn't sure if you're looking for a 'logo-type' image (for shirts, post-ups, stickers, bass-drum head, etc), or something for an album cover, poster type thing. Both would require different approaches. So I create a couple that may work in both areas. The more 'solid' vector type images are meant

Oops..the third and fourth one were res'd down by the forum software. Just 'Copy & Paste' the image url into a new browser for a full-scale preview.

hey thanks, those are great! I will run them by the guys but im sure we will probably end up using them for something. I'll be sure to credit you, you can PM me if you want your real name instead of mr curm lol.

yeah and thats pretty accurate for what i was looking for. our sound is kind of like rock/emo/punk kind of, i will post some songs when we get them recorded, should be getting a rough demo soon. although i dont think many people on this board will like it since theyre all old, lol
