Title: Lead on some Cheap Games near LA, CA
Post by: DarkKobold on June 29, 2005, 02:13:53 pm
I've got a good source on a few games for ubercheap right now... I'd like to share with someone, however, one game appears to not even be on KLOV. Orbatak? (Its an American Laserdisc game. I don't want to just give this out to anyone, someone who would possibly follow up on this would be great though. Other games include Afterburner, Operation Wolf, Skull n' Crossbones, and then 2 redemption games.

My friend works at KLOV. But really it's just a matter of using their Contribute system (http://www.klov.com/contribute.html).

However Orbatak doesn't appear to be in MAME either. And it's on the Most Wanted list (http://unmamed.mame.net/non_laserdisc.html#Orbatak).

I live in San Diego, but I'm up in Los Angeles all the time, (including this weekend).

If you want, PM me information on who to contact to buy the machine from and I'll take care of getting The Dumping Project (http://targets.mame.net/) and The GuRu (http://unemulated.emuunlim.com/) involved. I'm actually already putting together a Lock-On PCB to mail to Philip Bennet (http://www-users.york.ac.uk/~pjb118/wip.html), so maybe I can just throw it in with that shipment - and he can dump the ROMS for the MAME community.
