OK fellas, here it is. Lets start with what I'm running, then we'll get to the issue I'm having:
- MSI mobo/Athalon 64 3000+
- ArcadeVGA (the newer model)
- 25" Hantarex Polo tube with 8liners chassis
I have MameWah, GameLauncher, and AtomicFE setup on a fresh XP install. The video on the desktop is set to 640x480 (the lowest Windows allows), and the screen size/position/refresh rate are set. All 3 emulators work fine booting up, running games, and exiting back to the desktop.
The problem:
While in any of the FEs, if I select a game like Mario Brothers (1983) it runs fine, but if I select something newer (25kHz?) like Marvel vs Capcom, it stretches vertically and throws the refresh rate out the window (the image jitters up and down).
Is there a paramater I've missed somewhere in all 3 FEs to prevent this from happening, or could it be something hardware related, like my monitor or the AVGA?

Typically the best thing to do is when you find a solution is to post the solution here in your own thread. That way, if anyone else has the same problem, your solution may possibly help.
