Here's my beef with it:

"These individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law."

These aren't people convicted of soliciting - these are people who have only been charged, yet their face is plastered there for the world to see.

I have serious problems with that.

I think its a great idea for convicted offenders, the shame of something like that would make a fairly decent deterrent.  However  putting them up on their site like that seems like they are just throwing them to the wolves.

Well if they make the post, then you can bet that they weren't just talking about the weather.

I doubt if anybody on that chart didn't just get there by accident. If they did, they can get off of it right?

If you want to stop the problem, then you have to solve it right?  Risking having your name and face on a website like this is a pretty good deterrent.

If they haven't been convicted, they can put "suspected" or "alleged" in the text.

Knowing where a guy who gets a prostitute lives, and what he looks like doesn't help me at all.

Seriously, this just makes it worse.  Now when you get a hooker, you have to kill her to make sure she doesn't talk.

It's like a restaurant... you want gourmet, you are going to pay for it, but if you want a fatty cheeseburger and fries, it only takes ten minutes and costs you $7.

Post a picture of yourself and we'll have someone hack it up to the site.  Then call and try to have it taken down...  See how long it takes and what repercussions it has on your life.  Even though you were never there...  I'll be sure it makes it to the internet archive first though.

Saint Paul MN has the same thing already.

Sounds like a sad story.  Did it cause you a lot of trouble cooter?

Did it work in St. Paul?

Saint Paul MN has the same thing already.  That's why i shop elsewhere.

Better yet, find a picture of Daley, then hack the site and put it up there. ;)

If you change the date range to "last 30 days", there are at least a half dozen or so shemales in there, at least one of whom is in there at least twice.  What's the deal with Chicago?

I agree with those would legalize it.  Legalization generates tax revenue, reduces or eliminates the chance of associated crimes, and would allow for licensing with regular health check-ups, which would generate more revenue for the city/county/state/whatever (licensing fees) and reduce the spread of disease.

I also agree with Saint that they shouldn't be posting pictures of people online who haven't been convicted of anything.  Posting pictures implies guilt, and could result in negative consequences even for those who end up beating the charges.  Those guys/gals/people of questionable gender should band together and start a class action lawsuit against the city PD.
