I have not touched my arcade machines for months and I'm just now starting to use them again. I changed the machines around a little and cannot remember my exact configurations. Anyway, I have two machines. One has a 25" vertical monitor and one has a 25" horizontal monitor (both are real arcade monitors running off arcadeos). On my vertical machine I can see Gauntlet running full screen (but sideways so it cannot be played). On my horizontal machine I only get a "skinny" half screen version of the game. I swapped video cards in the machines (one is a PCI ATI 3D turbo and the other is an AGP ATI 3D turbo) but it did not make any difference. I have tried all resolution and depth settings but it does not make a difference. I know I played hours and hours of gauntlet before on this machine (which I definitely would not have done with only a half screen) so I know it can be done. Anyone have any ideas for me to try??? Thanks!

Only thing I can think of is to try changing the way your working screen runs (ie runs horizontal instead of vertical, or the other way around) through the software... never used arcadeos so don't know if you can with it, but I know other people have talked about doing it with some programs

You could try deleting the Gauntlet config file and see if that helps.
