The last line kills me:
By the time it's perfected, the cost of manufacturing the bionic arm is expected to be about $6 million, according to the report.
-
I suppose that, adjusted for inflation, becoming a bionic man is a bargain these days.

Punch Kryten in the head.

Nah, Steve Austin had two legs and an eye and arm for that.

I saw this guy on a tv show in australia called "Beyond Tomorrow"
It's cool shows what gadgets are out there and what will be coming tomorrow and it has a cute half asian hoast :-*
umm anyway he was on there and they were showing how it works and he was playing with his grandson and it was quite cool.
There was another story were they found out that the spine has it's own mini brain and is still active when the connection from the brain is cut off and they making a chip they implat into your spine to send messages on walking etc etc and this will be controlled by a joystick so you can walk by controling yourself
Now thats a real gamer ;D but think soon they can work out the brain patterns and then link the chip to the brain for people to walk.
Some cool things are being done that we don't know about :)
