just received and installed my new arcadevga card from ultimarc. when i switch the pc on i get no display and 8 bios beeps - according to the internet 8 bios beeps means "Display Memory Read/Write Failure Indicates a memory error on the video adapter. Try re-seating the video card. If it still beeps, try replacing the video card or the memory on the video card. "
i've obviously tried reseating the card and tried it in another computer and still the same.
any suggestions or is it f'd?
