Hello,
I need some help trying to figure out the best place to place a Qbert joystick on the SlikStik CO2 CP.
http://www.slikstik.com/detail.aspx?ID=9
I want to keep the existing layout, but am not sure of a practical location for the QBert stick.
Any thoughts?

I don't really see anywhere that you could put it (without your hand hitting something else while using it) unless you replaced something like the 4-way stick.

Don't bother. Just rotate the panel 45 degrees when playing QBert.

Maybe you could find an Oscar Controls diagonal restrictor plate. Maybe you could go the 49-way route. Sounds like alot of trouble for one game.

Ya, I know it is a lot of trouble for one game, but I already ordered the joystick and would like to get it to work. I play QBert now on the 8 way and it does miss sometimes.
I will have to find a place that isn't too obstructed.

Two games! Don't forget Congo Bongo!

I built an exact replica of the C02 Controller. I have the dimensions and all exactly as they are. The only difference from the stock layout I changed was moving the Tornado Spinner. I drilled my hole for the spinner shaft down and to the right of the 4-Way Joystick. It's just off-set from the single button below the 4-way. There is space in that area although it may crowd your 4-way a bit. If you had other areas in mind, let me know and I can look at my control panel.
Question: So you already have your C02 or are you ordering the stick separately?? If you are adding the stick, just see where it fits when you get it in. If you are having it placed on the Control Panel by SlikStik, I would just accept their default layout. Just my 2-cents...

I already have the CP and ordered another 4-way from Happs, but looking at the CP I am confused as to where to put it. I will play around once I get in the stick.
Thanks
