Title: My new cab has got non-standard size buttons
Post by: eggedd2k on June 22, 2005, 11:52:23 am
went to change over the buttons in my new jamma cab with the buttons i got from ultimarc (for when i was going to build a cab) and turns out they wouldnt fit.  the existing buttons are smaller in diameter than the new buttons i've got.

bit of a predicament now coz i dont want to have to drill out bigger holes in the cp coz it's in really good condition (complete with glass/perspex overlay).

i guess there is no alternative?

That is hole is gonna have to become bigger one way or another.  There's no good way to minimize the diameter of a standard pushbutton.

You're either going to have to bite the bullet and widen the holes in your CP... or make a whole new CP if you want to keep the current one the way it is.
