Title: noisey monitor? experts help!

is it possible to adjust a monitor if its noisy?
its a taxan pc monitor when i plug in the power at the back it makes this strange noise almost a light random buzzing sound.
when i turn the pc on it goes and monitor springs into life

i was just wondering if this i normal, can it be tuned  or is the monitor about to pack up?
