Buy my Japanese PSP please. It has the version 1.0 firmware which can run homebrew/emulation software directly from the memory stick without having to do the swap trick. People here can also ignore the disclaimer at the bottom of the auction

how much do you want for it, i saw the $350 buy it now button, but cant you buy a brand new one for $250?

Yes, actually you can.. and the 1.5s have been cracked..
-
Yes, a new US PSP can be had for $250 and it is true that the 1.5 version PSP's have been cracked. There is a chance, however, that a new PSP will have the 1.51 or 1.52 firmware versions which have not been cracked. Also, some people would prefer not to use the swap trick and instead just boot straight off a single memory stick.
No one has been able to boot a backup of a PSP UMD yet, but there is a chance that it will only be possible on the 1.0 PSP's. There is also a chance that it will be possible on any PSP, but no one knows for certain.
(I am not advocating piracy, merely pointing out a possible fair use situation...)

350, is a pure ripoff.. sorry dude but i could goto any store and get a psp NEW for 250, and used for 199..
-
If you actually looked at the auction, you would see that the $350 is just the BIN price and $250 is what the reserve price is at. Honestly, I don't expect someone to BIN, but I put the option there if someone wants to.
I also do not consider the BIN price to be a ripoff. You may be able to go into a store and buy a used one for $199, but not everyone can and it most likely won't be a 1.0 Japanese PSP. Some people specifically want the 1.0 PSP and they are the people which the auction is directed towards.

but you cant play the movies with a jap model either , even though alot of people wont bother with the movies but still

-

I forget where I was, but I saw a thing that mounts a psp to your windshield with suction cups. Genius.

Actually, the saddest thing would more likely be *Japanese* pornography on any PSP...
