Title: Quick utility to zip roms

My roms are expanded into properly named folders, and I want to turn them into zip files. This would be a very tedious and time-consuming process to do manually.

Does anyone have a link to a utility that will let me select a group of folders to be turned into <folder>.zip files?

just use ClrMame pro to rebuild your sets.

Yeah, ClrMame is the way to go.
If you really really had to just zip them, you could use zip batch tool like BatchZipToolKit (http://www.dtrleisure.com/cgi-bin/engine.exe/products/bztk) or GhostZip.
