What's it look like? Can we get a picture?
-
I'm not home to take a pic of mine, but here is what one looks like.
I've only used mine to punch maybe 8 holes, but i bought it used from a guy who did the same. Still cuts like butter

How do you go about making a hole with it? Do you need a special tool?
-
these can be used with or without a press.
What I did was to drill the pilot hole in teh center, where the hole will go, then you just screw this down, using the hole as a guide.
-
Do you think it would work in something that's been bondo'ed?
-
couldnt say, never tried such a thing. I do know that the way it punches it, makes sure there is no bending in teh material that is left.
I'll post a pic of it tonight...after work
-
That would be great. I just can't picture in my mind how this thing works. I just bought a couple cocktail CP's that are all full of holes where I'm probably not going to want them to be. I'm thinking I want to bondo and start from scratch.
-
here's how it works.
You drill a hole in the center where you want the hole.
Place bolt through hole and thread both sides of punch on bolt.
Ratchet it down till the cutting edge punches all teh way through teh material
un-ratchet and start next hole
perfect holes in metal

H1,
If AlanS17 doesn't want it, I will take it.
-
I want it, but I don't know if it'll work for my particular application. :-\
Do you offer money-back satisfaction guarantees? ;D (I think I already know the answer to that one.)
-
i can gaurentee that if you decide you dont want it, you can prolly resell it here.
lol
let me know if you want it, else kilgore gets it
-
I think I'll go ahead and pass. I'm sure I'll have plenty of time to regret that decision later.
