I currently have a Multicade control panel for my cabinet. It only has 1 button.I need a control panel with 2 button holes now for my cocktail table.
-
Would that be a 9 inch or 11 inch Midway style panel? or something else?

Is there room to drill another button hole?
-
I think it would be a tight fit. When i get home i'll measure my panel. That wil be later tonight-i am still at work.I am guessing it is the smaller panel. The one i have now says Multicade on it.It has one fire/jump button not to far from the joystick.
-
Is there even such a thing as a Multicade control panel? Couldn't you call anything a Multicade control panel?
That being said, I could use some cheap 11" Midway CP's.
-
It has "multicade" printed on it.There's a picture of Mario on it.
-
Can you take a picture of the entire cabinet? It sounds like a conversion to me.

I believe the multicade panels are replicas of the mspacman style panels which are smaller than the pacman panels. You can put two buttons on there but you have to angle them to make room.
-
I believe Ms Pac Man was actually made with a 9" panel and an 11" panel because the first cabs were identical to Pac Man cocktails, but they eventually got their own cab (basically the same with minor modifications).
The proper size of the panel can be determined quickly by looking at the wooden table top. Some have angled cuts inward above the control panel and some have straight cuts.

think he means this

it says it fits galagas/mspacman

At the risk of sounding like a %^&*...
Why don't you just put another hole in it yourself?
-
I suck at things like that plus it won't fit.I found a place up in Utah that is machining me 2 panels w/2 button holes. Now i need to wire my buttons.
-
How wide are your control panels that you have? Have you measured them?
-
from the looks of that panel it's a 9", but by the way that button hole isplaced, adding a second wouldn't look right or be in the right position for gameplay.
since you already have one made, then I guess you have your answer but I would have suggested just fillng that hole and drilling 2 new ones. not too hard and there are numerous ways to go about it.
check out my cocktail for a pic of the control panel, I think that's what you are going for. those are 9" panels. I had to drill an extra hole too, but they ended up looking okay. the right button is a new hole.
good luck!

Even though it might be a little cramped, I'd bet you could squeeze a second button in there to the left of the first. The picture is a 9" panel for sure, but it's never even been confirmed that that's what he actually has.
