Hi all,
I have just put my pc into my cab and connected the arcade monitor up via JPAC and arcade vga. It goes into windows ok, the pic is readable, but not great as expected, but when I try to launch Mamewah the screen flickers heaps, mamewah wont launch and i get the message
"PM Error: 5 Invalid procedure call or argument in CTRLR_FinaliseDI
16/06/2005 10:23:03 PM Mode 1024 x 768 @ 85, 32bit colour not available"
in the mamewah log.
I guess that its a problem with my resolution settings with mamewah but I just cant see where to fix it.
I have set up all resolutions with the res tool but cant see how this would affect it.
I also disabled and removed the video card I was setting up with before switching to my cab and then installed arcadevga drivers.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

You are using a layout set to 1024x768, 85hz, 32bit colour - sounds like your video card can't handle it.
Edit the layout using the Layout Designer and change these settings accordingly in the Background menu.

Thanks Minwah, thats what I sort of figured, However, I have selected 'classic 640 x 288' as the layout in Mamewah ini and it still does this. I double checked the settings of the layout in layout designer and could not see where it was 1024x768 or how to rectify this problem.
Unless it's the refresh rate which is set at 60hz seemingly, but I thought arcade vga would atke care of that?
Any other suggestions?
