Title: what tool use for plexiglass?

just want to know what tool you guys recommend for cutting and drilling holes on plexiglass..i hope i could finish my CP by the end of this week.. :angel:..thanks

thanks guys..but what i really want to know is how to cut the plexi panel..not drill the holes..anyway can someone show me a picture of this "router base attachment" looks like? thanks

I just use a table saw to cut the outside edges. For the holes I use a holesaw in a drillpress with scrap plexi clamped to the top and bottom.

You've asked in other threads about using your dremel. They're great tools, but they're not made to do everything. They can do alot of "small things" but they're not the answer to all life's problems. You've gonna need more than that dremel sooner or later.

I cut mine with a jigsaw and it worked just fine. If you buy good material you can cut it with just about anything.
