6. QD's from Peale

Whats QD, and whats the hot glue for?

QD is quick disconnects.
The hot glue is to secure your wires AFTER you solder them, to keep them from pulling back off of the gamepad PCB.

wire disconnects or wire quick disconnects.

do i need Female QD's?
-
Yes, as the buttons and joysticks have male terminals
-
and just to confirm; each arcade button has two wires coming from it?- one to the ground and one to the actual button (on gamepad)
-
Ermm, I'll say yeah, but you need to find what side of each button (on the gamepad PCB) is the ground.
-
ok kool, and what sort of wire and solder should I use?
-
22 guage wire, and a solder with a rosin core.
