Title: Anybody have experience with www.arcadegames4u.com?
Post by: MadWRX on June 12, 2005, 11:26:21 pm
I happened upon www.arcadegames4u.com and thought the kits looked pretty solid.  Plus, the site mentions that they CNC all their pieces in house so I would imagine fitment would be excellent.  I searched here and Google and found nothing in the way of a review or even a project based on these kits.  Anybody here have any experience with them?  Thanks!

Are you looking at any particular cab kit? Depending which one you're thinking about, you can find it for cheaper elsewhere.

Arcadegames4u doesn't sell kits, they're all assembled.

Scater, I didn't see any Golden Tee cabs on the site. Over all I am most impressed, too bad shipping is over 200 bucks but that should be expected.

They sell the GT's to ops, they say they will put it up on their site at some point but if you want one now you have but to call and say "gimme".  I'm sure they'd be glad to do a MAME style panel instead of the standard GT one if that's what floats your wagon. If you ever check out Replay or PlayMeter (Op Mags) they have ads in the back for several of their boxes not listed on their site.

As to the shipping, I just drive down and pick them up, but they will also ship freight collect to me if I want to use my own shipper instead of theirs, so if you can find a better shipping price, tell them you want to handle the shipping yourself.

Hmmm, amusing artwork.  Apparently they like the art library built by the board.
