if you're building a full size cabinet you don't need to go with one of those small via cpu/mobos...go with a real chip and mobo.  a cheap duron or athlon xp will be much better for games...

go for the ipac. sure you can hack and get some nice results...but why. its not like the ipac costs an arm and a leg or anything. though hacking is very cheap its simply not worth it

One nice thing about having a hacked joystick or gamepad is that the controls on your cabinet will look like a joystick to the OS and not a keyboard.  That way, you will have less trouble getting PC games to play on it, if you wish to...

But then again, most PC games nowadays allow the use of the keyboard, so who knows...  ?!?!
