Mame released for PSP (PlayStation Portable):

alright!  now everyone can pay way too much money to play mame roms on a handheld device!  awesome! ::)

Give it a year of development time. It could be great. This could be a good reason to buy a PSP. Really.  ;D

Personally, I'm more excited about the fact that PalmMAME has been ported over from the Zodiac to a more generic version capable of running on multiple different Palm platforms:
