Title: Removing ROM descriptions from FE gamelist

Anyone know how to remove the parentheses and rom descriptions from the game list in either GameLauncher or MAMEwah? I want to clean up the way the front end displays games so there is only one copy of each game, and no descriptions.

Not sure if I completely understand your question, but in GameLauncher, I edited the mame.map file in the config directory to give me a clean list of availble games with 'real' names, I have no parentheses anywhere.

It sounds like he's talking about the [!] and other signals in a goodset or TOSEC set.  In which case, I have no idea  :angel: but I bet minwah, jcrouse, scremaing, or someone else will kno  :P

Sorry for not being specific, but I don't have MAMEWAH on this machine any more to double-check and verify the exact wordings.

  MAMEWAH can do this automatically when you generate your game list.  You need to uncheck Show Clone Info in MAMEWAH Config or set that variable in your emuname-#.ini to 0 (zero).
