I think it's easier to see if you save it locally and view it.
just wanting to know....
Anyone seen anything else like this for Pac-Man or any other Classic?
-
I saw it after sitting cross eyed for 5 minutes.
I reckon these were invented by opticians to increase custom.
-
I had to get pretty close to my monitor but eventually I got it. Lot of depth to the image....
-
I saw it, but it doesn't have those guide dots that usually make it easy.
-
Damn, cant see it. Prob cos I have a slight red/green colour definiency.
Would make a nice CPO though!
-
Thought I would clarify the red/green thing. I am slightly red/green colour blind. Apparently it affects around 7% of males. Here are a few tests so you can see if it affects you.
Everyone should see a 12 here regardless.

Here you should see a number 5. I see more of a number 2.

Here you should see a 6, I see more of a 5 (and no, I havent got them mixed up

Got this stereogram in about 5 seconds, but I've done a lot of them. I think it's easiest if you find the dot in the middle first. Very cool!
I find the 5,6,7 harder to see but I do see them.

Should I get rid of the eyes? It seems to make it distracting to me....I think...or maybe just make them the same depth as the background..to make it stand out even more.
any ideas?
-
I can't see 3D *and* I'm red/green colourblind.
Not to mention my vision sucks.
I guess I'm just lucky I'm not blind .. ;D
-
I pretty much like it as is - what did you use to make it?

a Program called Stereo Explorer
What do you think of this one?
-
Harder on the eyes - the distintive Pac characters that make up the stereogram keep stealing my eyes' focus away from the stereogram image.

Really?
For me if I save that one to a jpg and look at it, it's a lot easier for me to find it. Plus it's got the theme...I'm thinking about making a poster of it to hang in my basement.

I've never been able to see these things. :(
-
The blue one is much easier on my eyes :)

Actually I thought the second one was a LOT easier to find, I can see the blue one pretty easy, but can't really make out the eyes, the second one really stands out easy.
Saint is obviously crazy and perpetually cross-eyed, don't listen to him :)
(20-20 vison and no colorblindness here!) whoo hoo!
-
Cool stuff... the second one is a little harsh on the eyes initially, but I was able to pick up all the detail faster, the lines from the maze, the dot... I found it more pleasant once the 3d image was popped up. I like it better than the blue one.

I agree it's a little harsh..but I thought it'd look cooler as a poster. You know..the theme and the 3d image. that way, even if you can't see the image..you still a lot of pac-mans and a lot of ghosts. :)

You saw it, too?! Damn it! I've been staring at this thing for a week now--from opening 'til closing--and I can't see a thing!
-
This reminds me of the scene in Mallrats where the guy is staring at the picture all day and can't seem to find the sailboat and the little kid sees it in a few seconds.
Look ma! It's a scooner!

I have excellent vision. 20/15 at least....maybe 20/10. I can see all those numbers perfectly. But I'll be damned if I've ever........EVER........been able to see the image inside those magic eye things. Back when they were popular and had the kiosks in the mall I would stand there and stare at one for 5-15 minutes at a time and never get anything. I tried all the tricks, crossing my eyes, getting an inch or so away from it and slowly backing up, focusing on the reflection on the glass or trying to focus on a point beyond the picture. I can't see them period.
I've learned to cope.
-
I agree with Schmokes. I just cant do it.
-
I can see something 3d in the first, but darned it all if I can see anything in the first!
-
I have excellent vision.
-
Hah! Next you'll be claiming there's a sailboat (http://www.slipups.com/items/9744.html) in there or something.
-
nope
can not see it.
chalk me up as one who never could.
I can see all the # but not the sterio art ???
-
Kick BUTT!!! I can actually see it in both!!! This would be the first ones I've EVER actually been able to get!
I couldn't see the first image until I got the second one...After that, the first image came up right away, I'm not sure if it's because I knew what to look for or not....
The first image is definatly easier on the eyes initially, but I'm finding that once I have it, the second image is actually easier to keep my focus on, I lose focus on the first very easilly.
Thanks for showing me the way ;)
my 2 cents,
Xar256 ;D
<FYI, I did these without my glasses - I'm near sighted, but not colorblind>
-
I can see both. Takes about five seconds for them to pop. I like the second one the best.

OHHHH YESSSS !!!!
This is the first one of those I can see !!!!
YES !!!!....
ok.... for those who still cannot see...
let me try to help you visualize what you're trying to see....
a lot of people tried to tell me before when I'm looking at these kinds of pics... but noone is able to describe to me what I should be looking for....
since I can see it now... lets hope I can explain it so that more people can see it...
forget about the first one... (that blueish one...) that one is hard to see....
try the second one... the little pacman one... its better...
once you get the 2nd one, go back to the first one, and you should be able to see the first one....
I started with the 2nd one, and now I can see both....
(and yes, I'm excited....)
well.... stare at it for a bit some that everything starts to get blurred.....
and then suddenly it'll get focused back and a pic will pop out.....
(and good part is... I'll attach a pic of what you're going to see...)
ok... how to insert an image here ??.... I've done this before... but somehow it doesn't work now....
anyway.....
ok.... let me explain how 3d this is....
this is NOT the 3d that I would imagine I would see....
when people tell me there's a 3d image in there, I was thinking there is a 3D image in there !!!
Sorry.... in a way, maybe yes, but actually NO !!!...
ok.... thinking about this... have you ever see those layered pictures ??
where they have a 2d background pic, and then they put a layer of glass on top of the background, and then they put some 2d people on top of the glass, and then they put another layer of glass on top, and then some 2d foreground plants, or something, and cover the whole thing with another layer of glass ??
and when you look at it straight on, it looks kinda like the people and the foreground plants pops out.... (kinda 3d), but actually you might want to call it layers of 2d ??
this is what I see.....
I see in the background, then a layer of 2d image... with the pacman on the left side, a dot in the middle, and a ghost on the right side... all pretty big.....
I hope I have helped.....
btw,
I see the "12" on the first pic clearly...
I can barely see the "2" on the second pic.... (only bits and pieces...) if I was not told, I might not be able to tell its a 2....
I can see the "6" on the 3rd one, although I know what you mean by it looks like a 5....
and the last one, I don't see a thing.... not even any pattern....
does that mean I'm color blind ??
I always thought I was, but I still can see some color (well... I'm sure of that...) but then my friend told me there's no different levels of color blind, just you are or you're not.....
since I can see color, then I guess I'm not....
but now... seems like I am....

there are different levels of colour blindness. if the last one you are referring to is the 'seven' then you probably have some level of colour blindness (unless you were looking at my 'thirteen' ;) )
-
okie... yes, I'm referring to the "7" one...
so, I'm officially partially color blind....
