Title: original arcade power switch
Post by: sgfootball2006 on June 10, 2005, 02:43:30 am
I have an old Pacman upright cabinet which I am in the process of coverting to a Mame machine. It still has the original power switch on the top. Is this switch rated high enough in order to run the wires from a switch on a surge protector to it?

Son, you were just advised that it would work by Paige.  ;)  It will work.  :police:

I agree. Most cabs I've seen run the leads from the power cable straight through the power switch.

Your power switch will laugh at you when you wire it up to the surge protector and ask "is that all you've got"?

(Yes, it'll work without a problem.)
