Innobec Technologies have just released a beta version of there software Sidewindow.
It allows you to use a Windows based PDA as a second monitor and extend your desktop onto it.
I have played around with this and it works fine on my Axim x50V.
Now down to the good stuff :)
How hard would it be to take one of the apps for displaying a CP layout in mame and forcing it to display on a certain monitor number EG the PDA screen.
So say in Mamewah, You launch a game and on your main monitor it displays the game but on the second monitor/PDA screen it displays a pic of your CP and the controls for that game.
I think this would be so cool if I could use my old Ipaq for something like this and mount it in my CP.
Thank you
LB

In the case of johnny 5... not horribly hard. It already supports custom positioning via the command line you send. You would simply have to "move" it via those commands across your main monitor and to your secondary one. It also supports an "always on" mode, although it's a tad buggy.
As a matter of fact, you better wait until the next official release. Check out the johnny 5 thread for more info.
